Three major programs of the Three Gorges International Tourism Festival on the Yangtze River make their debut

Since its official launch on July 26th, the 9th China Three Gorges International Tourism Festival has continuously launched exciting activities in various districts and counties along the Three Gorges, attracting the attention of a large number of tourists. Yesterday, the Flower Show, Dahe Song Festival, and Light Show made their debut in Wanzhou, bringing a series of audio-visual feasts to the citizens.

Flower Show: Enjoy the Tourist Scenery of 14 Counties and Counties

A unique float exhibition was held in Wanzhou District. The float exhibition is one of the highlights of this year's Three Gorges Tourism Festival, inspired by the theme of "Magnificent Yangtze River, Poetry and Painting Three Gorges", showcasing the tourism elements and characteristics of 14 districts and counties along the Three Gorges through artistic creation. It is reported that the displayed floats come from 14 districts and counties including Wanzhou, Fuling, Changshou, Dianjiang, Liangping, Kaizhou, Yunyang, Shizhu, Chengkou, Fengdu, Fengjie, Wushan, Wuxi, and Chengkou. The float exhibition showcases the regional culture, geographical landmarks, and characteristic products of 14 districts and counties, collectively reflecting the rich tourism resources of the New Three Gorges. Through the float exhibition, tourists have gained a more comprehensive and intuitive understanding of Three Gorges tourism. During the exhibition, the organizers also provided performances of Three Gorges characteristic folk culture programs, bringing tourists a comprehensive audio-visual tourism feast.

Dahe Song Festival: Famous Orchestra's Exciting Performance

One of the important events of this year's Three Gorges Tourism Festival, the World River Song Festival, was held at the Civic Square in Wanzhou District. The performance time of this World River Song Festival is 90 minutes, divided into preface, first part (Soul of the River), middle part (Rhyme of the River), and second part (Dream of the River). This year's music festival has invited 5 overseas performance teams, including the Irish National Choir, the Volga Chorus in Volgograd, Russia, the Selam Orchestra in Africa, Rhythm City City City Rhythm in the United States, and the Mariachi Divas band from Mexico. In the Chinese participating orchestra, the choir part is completed by the Three Gorges Choir of Wanzhou District Cultural Center and the Wanzhou Vocational Education Center in Chongqing, while the symphony orchestra and song and dance part are jointly created by the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipal Opera House and the Chongqing Song and Dance Troupe. Centered around the theme of the world's great rivers, the Great River Song Festival kicked off with the famous tenor singer Dai Yuqiang leading the performance of "Beautiful Three Gorges in a Hundred Miles".

Light Show: Watching Interactive Stereoscopic Special Effects Performance

As one of the key events of this year's Three Gorges Tourism Festival, a large-scale urban real-life lighting cultural and artistic show was staged at Pinghu in the Three Gorges of Wanzhou. The lighting cultural and artistic performance is themed "Pearl of the Three Gorges, Splendid Wanzhou", including three events: a river fluid themed light and shadow show, an environmental lighting art exhibition, and a light and shadow interactive carnival amusement park. The main part of the event is a river surface fluid themed light and shadow show. It is understood that the light and shadow show is equipped with nearly 10000 square meters of special effects performance floating platforms and holographic reflective films. The performance floating platform is about 50 meters offshore, with a length of 180 meters and a width of 50 meters. Holographic projection is used on site, and multimedia laser matrices are loaded on top of buildings on the opposite bank of the river and behind the performance area. There are fountains and fireworks devices on the floating platform, with the highest fountain reaching 60 meters. The head of the design team introduced that the light and shadow show mainly uses naked eye 3D effects, light and shadow technology, interactive technology, and laser technology to create a sense of reality, achieving "large-scale quality, epic character, and tourism brand", forming a city landscape with the river as the platform, the city as the scenery, and the mountains as the curtain.
