Starting from July 10th, Jiuyuan Airlines has added a new route from Yichang to Guangzhou, with one flight per day; From July 10th to 31st, China Eastern Airlines added a new route from Yichang to Pudong, with one flight per day; From July 10th to August 31st, China Eastern Airlines added new routes to Taiyuan, Yichang, and Jieyang, with one flight per day; Starting from July 11th, Donghai Airlines has added new routes to Shenzhen, Yichang, and Dalian, operating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday; Starting from July 25th, Kunming Airlines has added a new route from Kunming to Yichang, with one flight per day.
As of now, the number of cities accessible to the Three Gorges Airport has been restored to 29, with 50 operating routes and a daily passenger throughput of around 5300, an increase of 37% compared to June. The peak of summer sports is expected to occur in early August.
The Three Gorges Airport stated that while doing a good job in epidemic prevention and control, it will continue to actively connect with airlines, local tourism departments, and related enterprises, increase the promotion of Yichang aviation tourism, fully tap into the aviation market customer base, and make all preparations for the arrival of the summer peak.
