Data shows that as of November 10th, the total number of tourists in the Three Gorges Dam tourist area this year has reached 3.008 million, an increase of 272000 or 9.94% compared to the same period last year, with 2.736 million visitors. Among them, there was a significant increase in individual land travelers in the months of 5, 6, and 7, with an average increase of 83.18% in reception volume compared to the same period last year.

Since September 25, 2014, when tickets for the Three Gorges Dam Tourist Area were made free to Chinese tourists, the scenic area has received over 2 million visitors for five consecutive years, and the number has continued to increase year by year.
