The largest Yangtze River Three Gorges cruise ship "Huaxia Goddess 3" has started construction, with a capacity of 650 people

On the morning of June 25th, the construction of the "Huaxia Goddess 3" vessel by Chongqing Zhongjiang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for Chongqing Damei Yangtze Three Gorges Cruise Co., Ltd. officially began, and it will be put into use in April 2021. This cruise ship is currently the highest level and largest cruise ship in the Three Gorges region of the Yangtze River, and has pioneered the creation of an "explosive glass corridor bridge" on the top floor.

The chief engineer of the ship, Tan Qingping, introduced that a major feature of the "Huaxia Goddess 3" is the use of functional zoning on the cruise ship, and this cruise ship is the first cruise ship in the Three Gorges region of the Yangtze River to have functional zoning. The front half of the cruise ship is designed as a guest room area, while the back half is a public entertainment facility area. Low noise damping technology is used in many places on the cruise ship to form a pedestrian loop inside. At the top, there is a large observation platform of over 1300 square meters, which innovatively creates an "explosive glass corridor bridge" aimed at providing tourists with a better service experience. In the future, there will be open tours of the driver's cab and simulated driving experience projects to better meet the increasingly diverse needs of tourists.

At the same time, the "Huaxia Goddess 3" fully utilizes high-tech to achieve full coverage of WiFi and one card. By utilizing existing big data technology, intelligent information management can be achieved. After boarding the ship, tourists can directly input their personal information into the system. Afterwards, tourists can engage in multiple activities on the cruise ship with only one card, and enjoy various services such as ordering and calling through the operable interface screens of different devices. In terms of security, the security measures of the "Huaxia Goddess 3" cruise ship have met the latest requirements of the fifth generation cruise ship and classification society. Multiple sets of security measures are used, including fingerprint recognition to unlock guest rooms. In the future, more convenient and secure forms of tourism such as facial recognition may be implemented.

At present, there are 32 cruise ships operating in the Three Gorges region of the Yangtze River, belonging to Chongqing and Yichang in Hubei. The rise of Three Gorges tourism has driven the development of Three Gorges cruise ships. "According to the person in charge of the Chongqing Tourism Association, last year, the number of boat tourists in the Three Gorges region exceeded 1.2 million, the number of people taking cruise ships reached 600000, and the operating income reached 1.5 billion yuan, an increase of more than 10% over the previous year." This year, the number of guests taking cruise ships to visit the Three Gorges will increase by 30%

The person in charge stated that the construction of the "Huaxia Goddess 3" cruise ship is mainly based on the exploration of the transformation and upgrading of Chongqing's cruise industry. The "Huaxia Goddess 3" cruise ship can achieve shipping from Chongqing to Shanghai in the future. The main route of the cruise ship is to connect the water transportation between Chongqing and Yichang. In the future, it will form a linkage with Wushan Airport and Zhengwan High speed Railway to help build a regional transportation network.
