On September 7th, the reception volume of the Three Gorges Dam Tourist Area officially exceeded two million this year. This achievement is one month ahead of the same period last year, setting a historical record for the fastest speed.

As of September 6th, the total number of tourists in the Three Gorges Dam Tourist Area was 1.995 million, completing 86.74% of the annual task of 2.3 million people, an increase of 334000 people or 20% compared to the same period last year. Since the beginning of this year, the number of land-based group tourists has increased significantly, with monthly growth rates exceeding 50% compared to the same period last year; The daily reception volume exceeded 10000 people for 81 days, setting a record for the best level in the same period in history.

Since the beginning of this year, the scenic area center has adhered to the management concept of "strengthening safety awareness and enhancing safety literacy", comprehensively strengthened quality and safety management, organized 16 safety and quality inspections, and implemented 21 safety hazard rectification measures. At present, the scenic area has gradually completed the leisure facility project, Tanziling green space restoration, forest rest area renovation, park monitoring system upgrade and renovation, model room renovation, and interception park lighting and sound renovation, as well as the centralized renovation project of tourist center stalls. The planning and design of the 185 park and the interception park are also steadily advancing, and the tourist reception service facilities are constantly improving.
