The Gezhouba Water Conservancy Hub is located at the end of the Yangtze River Three Gorges in Yichang City, Hubei Province, China, 2.3 kilometers downstream of the Nanjinguan exit of the Three Gorges. It is the first large-scale hydropower station on the Yangtze River and also the world's largest low head, high flow, runoff hydropower station.

Tourists visiting Gezhouba can first go to the reception room of Gezhouba Engineering Bureau to watch the electric model of the dam and the color documentary of the river closure, and then go up to the dam to enjoy the magnificent scenery of the dam.
On September 18, 2019, various colored lights installed in Gezhouba were officially turned on for the first time. Several large colored lights decorated Gezhouba exceptionally beautifully at night, welcoming National Day. This is the first time in the 38 year history of Gezhouba's construction and navigation that landscape lights have been turned on.
