Zhaojun's hometown is the hometown of Wang Zhaojun, one of the Four Great Beauties of ancient China. Wang Zhaojun was born in Zigui, Nanjun County (now Xingshan County, Yichang City, Hubei Province) during the Western Han Dynasty. Nanjun County is now divided into Zigui County and Xingshan County. Her hometown, Baoping Village, is located about six or seven kilometers northwest of Xingshan County. Baoping Village is a beautiful place with clear mountains and clear waters. A clear tributary of the Yangtze River, Xiangxi, flows through the village in front of it. The stream flows three and a half times around a peak of green mountains, and the mountainside is naturally flat. The village on the flat ground is named "Baoping" because of this.
Xingshan County is located in the western part of Hubei Province, northwest of Yichang City. Zhaojun Residence

The well platform is made of porcelain and stone, with Nanmu wood embedded in it, clearly visible. A stone tablet is erected next to it, engraved with the words "Nanmu Well". There is a stream nearby where Wang Zhaojun often freshened up before getting married. It is said that this well was where Zhaojun used to fetch water. The temperature of well water can reach 30 ℃ in winter and cool as ice in summer. It is used to brew the white crane tea produced in Zhaojun Village, which is fragrant and delicious. Zhaojuntai
It is said that Feitai Mountain, opposite the hometown of Zhaojun, was the place where Zhaojun collected firewood and worked during his childhood. Before entering the palace, she lingered in her hometown and climbed up the mountain to admire the famous "Fei Tai Mountain". After Zhao Jun entered the palace, the villagers "built the platform and looked out." The remains of the platform foundation still exist today. According to records, during the Han Dynasty, there was a Zhao Jun Temple here, during the Tang Dynasty, there was a Zhao Jun Courtyard, during the Song Dynasty, there was a Zhao Jun Hometown Stele. In the 13th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1415), the Zhao Jun Courtyard was rebuilt, and in the autumn of the 10th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1884), the Zhao Jun Hometown Stele was rebuilt here. Today, the inscription still exists. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Zhao Jun Pavilion, Zhao Jun Fang, and Zhao Jun Hometown Stele were rebuilt, with an ancient and majestic architectural style. Peach blossoms, plum blossoms, and citrus fruits, surrounded by lush greenery and piled with gold. The clear stream in front of the platform resembles a blue ribbon, drifting between the nine curved canyons, with a handsome and beautiful appearance.
Pearl Pool
