When crossing the dam, there is a saying: small boats take the elevator, while large boats take the stairs. The elevator is just a lift. The ship enters the gate and slowly descends until it reaches the downstream position. The water level difference between the upstream and downstream is over 100 meters, which is quite shocking.

A 3-day trip from Yichang to Chongqing is pretty good. I took the Kaisa cruise ship, which has a European style appearance and is my favorite type. Mainly because the price is not expensive, less than 1000 yuan per person. I really enjoy the scenery of Shennong Creek, which can be described as being close to nature with mountains and water.
