The ticket to the Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River is free. We used to go there by self driving, taking the dedicated road of the Three Gorges Dam, and obtaining a free pass at the entrance of the highway. Then, we can park at the Three Gorges Tourist Center and buy a sightseeing ticket for the Three Gorges Dam for only 35 yuan per person, or we can purchase it online in advance.

The Three Gorges Dam is free to visit. Previously, I took a bus from the city center to the tourist center, and then took a bus from the scenic area to visit three attractions: Tanziling, Platform 185, and the River Diversion Memorial Park. The bus would first take tourists to the mountainside of Tanziling, then to Platform 185, and finally to the Memorial Park where they could see the full view of the dam.
