ReplyDon't worry about the Maverick Katie! I recommend taking a trip to the Three Gorges while Chongqing is not yet hot in June. It's really too hot in July and August! I went there last summer because the sun was too hot, and I couldn't go to many scenic spots along the way (I really couldn't walk, so I wanted to lie in my room and blow the air conditioning haha). Finally, I went to see the Three Gorges Dam. Along the way, there were scenic spots like Fengdu Ghost City and Baidi City that were worth buying tickets for.
